NETSIDES

Privacy policy

Last updated: October 11, 2026.

This policy describes information processed when you use Netsides at netsides.com. For privacy questions or requests, contact netsides.contact@gmail.com.

Website hosting

Netsides is hosted with Hostinger. Delivering and protecting the website involves processing request information, such as your IP address, browser details, requested pages, and request times. Hosting logs and their retention depend on the hosting service and account settings. See Hostinger’s privacy policy.

Optional analytics

With your permission, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are useful and how visitors use the site. Google may process cookie identifiers, page views, interactions, browser and device information, referral information, and approximate location derived from your IP address.

Google Analytics is blocked until you select “Accept analytics.” Rejecting analytics does not prevent you from reading the site. Analytics is not loaded on the search page. Advertising storage, advertising user data, and advertising personalization remain disabled in our consent configuration.

When accepted, Google Analytics may set first-party cookies such as _ga and _ga_*. We configure these to expire after 180 days and not extend automatically on each visit. Browser settings can shorten their lifetime. Google’s processing and retention also depend on the Analytics account settings and its own policies. Learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services and read Google’s privacy policy. These providers may process information outside your country.

Your choice and browser storage

We remember your analytics choice in browser local storage under netsides-analytics-consent for up to 180 days. If that storage is unavailable, we try session storage for the current tab. This preference storage is used to respect your choice, not to track your visits. If neither is available, your choice lasts for the current page.

You can use at any time to accept or reject analytics. On withdrawal we disable further Analytics collection and remove accessible Google Analytics cookies on this site. This does not delete data already sent to Google. Clearing browser storage also resets your saved choice.

Email contact

Our contact page uses an email link, not a website form. If you email us, your email provider and Gmail process the message. We receive your email address, message, and any information you choose to include so we can handle your enquiry. Email records may remain in the mailbox until removed. You can request deletion using the address above; please do not send passwords or sensitive account details.

Site search

Search runs in your browser using an article index downloaded from Netsides. Queries are not submitted to a separate search provider. They appear in the page URL, so they may remain in browser history or hosting logs when that URL is requested. Avoid entering personal information in search.

External links and advertising

External websites have their own privacy practices. Following an affiliate link may allow the destination provider to track the referral. See our affiliate disclosure. The current site does not load a display advertising network or provide user accounts.

Requests and updates

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal information, withdraw consent, or complain to a data protection authority. Email us to make a request. We may need enough information to identify the relevant records. We will update this page when the site’s services or privacy practices change.
